This intricate nature-inspired fisherman’s style toque / beanie showcases a large stitch panel that echoes the silhouette of the common yarrow plant. Bobbles represent small clusters of blooms, cables create stout stems, and a seed stitch filler adds variety. The hat also includes a folded cuff for warmth and to keep the hat snug. Keep your head cozy through winter while you wait for these dainty flowers to pop up in spring :)

THE PDF PATTERN INCLUDES

Difficulty: Intermediate

Yarn Weight: Size 1/Super-Fine (“Fingering”); a smooth yarn with good stitch definition is recommended; although the sample was knit with a yarn containing silk, yarns of other fiber contents could also work great; if a slightly slouchy look is desired, select a yarn that will have good drape; if you want the hat to stand up, choose something with more spring to the fibers
