Every Saturday and Sunday morning from May through December, you can stroll Portland’s downtown waterfront and shop the iconic Saturday Market. This vibrant hodgepodge of handmade art, crafts, jewelry, food, and more is definitively Portland. Capture some of that Saturday Market exuberance (and probably some new purchases, as well) by crocheting this wonderfully colorful, slightly Woodstock-summer-esque, joyously tasseled bag.

Yarn:
Approximately 375 yards/343 meters sport-weight yarn. Shown in Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Mediumweight (100% superwash merino; 402 yards/368 meters per 6 ounce/170 gram skein), colorway Saturday Market.

Finished Size:
Approximately 13”/33 cm wide and 14”/36 cm tall (exclusive of strap and tassels).

Hook:
US #G/4.25 mm (or size to obtain gauge).
