This pattern is perfect for an advanced knitter, with a colour work union jack flag as well as plain flags.
The pattern contains a colourwork grid as well as written instructions for the union jack.

You will need 200g of Lauren Aston Designs Super Chunky Yarn in Sapphire and a 100g ball of Lauren Aston Designs Super Chunky Yarn in Scarlet, Natural White and Mustard.
With this amount of yarn you should be able to make 6 x union jack flags, 9 x Sapphire blue flags (we used 6 of these to back our union jacks to hide the back of the colourwork.)
2 x Scarlet, 4 x White, and 4 x Mustard flags plus the crochet chain.

Size when made
Each flag measures approximately 20cm across the top and 18cm long down the centre.
