This is a wool stuffed animal that will be fulled when finished, so choose feltable wool yarn. The main body is worked in 150-200 yarns of an oatmeal colored bulky wool yarn.

After felting you will latch hook on 3 1/2 inch pieces of pre-felted sport weight wool or a wool mohair blend single.

Gauge is not critical for this pattern. You can change the size of needles and yarn and still end up with a finished sloth, but the finished size will vary.

I used 150 yards of the heavy or bulky weight yarn for the body and 400 yards of the singles for the body hair.
