Yehliu
Yehliu is a simple lace cardigan that’s partially knit from side to side. Then stitches are picked up to knit the rest of the cardigan. Perfect for those cool summer evenings, especially in places like California.
Yehliu is also the name of a National Park and Beach in the southern tip of Taiwan, where a famous natural sandstone bust resembling Nefertiti, and other fantastic and unique geological formations reside.
(The photo of me grinning stupidly is when I found out that my garment was hanging in the Lorna’s Laces booth at the Needlearts trade show in Jan. 2009.)
