Instructions for making lining: should include “1.5cm has been allowed for seam”. This gives a 20cm finished width of lining after seaming, making the measurements for folding correct along the top edge in the diagram.

Pattern 2 / Row 13: C3F = 1 st fwd on cable needle, K2, K1 off cable needle (C3F definition omitted in original pattern).

Repetition of patterns: Pattern 1 should be repeated twice, then work rows 1 and 2 again: thus making a total of 26 rows, to match Pattern 2.

Decrease row: Use ssk instead of K2tog where necessary to bring vertical lines of twisted rib in pattern section in line with top section.
