The Yellow days cardigan-pattern has been tested.
The list of my talented testers is found at the bottom of these notes.

This was such an enjoyable knit - to design, as well as to have on my needles. The textures makes it grow fast, and wanting to do one more, just one more pattern-repeat!
The yellow yarn gave such good vibes, too - making me feel that there are yellow days full of sun, peace and happiness.

The design and construction
The cardigan is worked seamlessly with very little finishing work.
The classic cardigan has lots of textures, great-fitting shoulders and sleeve-caps, a button/neck-band worked in one piece.
The body is worked flat and bottom-up.
The sleeve-caps are worked flat, incorporating picked-up sts around the armhole openings by short-rows.
From the underarm down the sleeves are worked in the round.
The button/neck-band is worked flat in one piece, from picked-up and knit sts.

Materials
Yarn: I used ”Jensen” from Isager yarn. This DK weight yarn comes in skeins of 125 m/137 yards. I recommend a yarn that knits up to gauge and with a great stitch-definition to work the cardigan. If using ”Jensen” you will need 250/300/375/450/525/600/700 m = 275/330/410/490/575/660/765 yards. Needles: a circular needle 80 cm/32”, size 3 mm/US2.5 to work the hem and button/neck-band. A circular needle 80 cm/32”, size 3.5 mm/US4 to work the main-body and the sleeve-caps.
A set of DPNS, size 3.5 mm/US4 to work the sleeves in the round. A set of DPNS, size 3 mm/US2.5 to work the cuffs. You may also use circulars for the sleeves, if working the magic loop. Notions: buttons, size 12 – 14 mm/0.5” across. A cable-needle (cn). Waste-yarn or separate holders.
A blunt tapestry needle. Blocking tools suitable for the yarn you are using.

Gauge
26 sts and 34 - 36 rows/rounds in waffle st = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4”.
The waffle st is used for the sleeves and on the sides of the body. The pattern gives thorough instructions for swatching in the waffle st.
