This is a fun project to make, great to learn advanced techniques as Judy’s magic cast-on, short rows and i-cord.
Needles:
6.5 mm US 10½ DPNs or 80 cm 32” circular needles.
3.0 mm US 2½ DPNs for periscopes.
3.5 mm US 4 DPNs for propellers and portholes.
Materials:
44 (48) metres / 48 (53) yards of Super Bulky weight yarn
17.4 m (19.0 yards) of Sport weight yarn
10.6 m (11.6 yards) of Worsted or DK weight yarn
