Yellowjacket
Yellowjacket is a large triangular shawl, worked top down from the centre outward in sport or fingering weight yarn. Hexagonal lace sections, reminiscent of honeycombs, are simple to knit, whilst a double row of bee motifs, worked using twisted stitches and Estonian gathered stitches add challenge to satisfy the more experienced knitter. Flower-like clusters of bobble stitches add further textural interest.
