I am very lucky to live within walking distance of some absolutely beautiful countryside. As a family we can often be seen tramping over the hills armed with a picnic and an over excited dog. One such walk in to the moors inspired the colour choices and name for this shawl. Stoney pathways across boggy valley bottoms and a hoar frost on the grasses covering the hills, with a rest stop for tea and biscuits sat on a rock next to a reservoir.

I used up odd balls of yarn and some scraps for this project so it is a good stash buster for those who like that sort of thing and you can of course swap and change the colours to suit yourself. Maybe your version could be inspired by walks in your local area or even your commute to work through the middle of a busy city.
