The Yetta Socks blend vintage lace with classic style and rugged, hard-wearing features that will make them last for many years.

The socks are knitted in two contrasting speckled or solid fingering weight yarns. A band of Japanese lace leads into classic lines of twisted stitches that extend to the toe. The heels are marled (knitted from one strand of each colour), softening the colours and providing a double-thickness, hard-wearing heel. This marled section extends under the heel, providing cushioning for the foot and a longer wearing sock. The toes are hardy, cushioning garter stitch.

The socks are knitted from the top down. The lace section is fully written out, with a chart provided for optional use.

The pattern is for an average woman’s foot. Length can be adjusted to suit.
