Yin Yang Bag
The Yin Yang Bag was born from the appearance of summer. It is the perfect handbag/shoulder bag for every and all errands -- to the grocery store, the market, brunch, a date, the post office, the park… literally everywhere. It’s even roomy enough to fit a sandwich, some strawberries, and a bag of Cheetos… if you somehow forget where your lunch bag is. ♡
Level of difficulty: Beginner to advanced beginner. It is possible for a complete beginner to read this pattern. However, it is recommended that you first go on YouTube and familiarize yourself with basic crochet terminology before making this vest.
Materials:
- Worsted/medium (size 4) weight yarn. For reference, I used Lily Sugar ‘n Cream yarn in the colors hot green and soft ecru for the handbag & black and soft ecru for the shoulder bag. I used approx. 2 balls for Color A (yin) & 1.5 balls for Color B (yang).
- 4mm crochet hook (or any hook that meets the gauge with your tension; gauge is provided within the pattern)
- Measuring tool (e.g., ruler, tape measurer)
- Scissors & yarn needle

I would love to share your work on my page as it brings me insurmountable joy that someone has made a bag using this pattern. ♡
It is only fair that credit goes where credit is due. This is not gatekeeping. It is respecting and recognizing the work a creative has put into creating a pattern. Because you have bought this pattern does not make it yours nor does it mean you should treat the design as if it is yours.
Lastly, I’d like to extend thanks to my testers: Hayley @softlymadecottage, Phoebe @mochimicrochets, Ying @myinnerlandscape, and Megan @frogghorl ♡
