About the design:

The pants are knit from the legs and up in a textured stitch pattern, with wide legs, but fitted around the waist. The waist band is a folded rib, which is finished with a sewn in elastic. For the smallest sizes the elastic is not requied, as the rib has a good deal of elasticity in itself.
You can also find a cardigan in the Yo Over collection.
Children come in many sizes, which is why it is important to choose a size after measurements rather than age.

Finished measurements sizes:

0 (3) 6 (9) 12 (18) 24 months.
Hip circumference: Approx. 49 (52) 54.5 (57) 57 (60) 62.5 cm.
Inner leg length: Approx. 16 (19) 22 (23) 26 (28) 32 cm.

Suggested yarn and yardage:

Yaku, 100% merino wool from CaMaRose, 200m/50g
2 (3) 3 (3) 4 (4) 4 skeins.

Suggested needle size:

Circular needle size 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm, 40 cm / 50cm.
Dpns size 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm, 15 cm.

Gauge:

30 sts and 39 rows = 10 X 10 cm in pattern on size 3.0 mm.
