I made the sample with Dk weight yarn and a 3mm hook. He is approximately 6 inches high. The pattern can be made using any size yarn with the appropriate hook (I would recommend going down a size on the hook if you crochet loosely.)

The Face is added using simple embroidery and surface crochet. If you are not familiar with this method, the entire face can be done with simple embroidery. I have provided written instructions and a chart to help with the positioning of the features.

You will need Green, Dark Brown, and Light Brown yarn for the crochet parts. A very small amount of white and pink for the facial features.

Pattern is written in fairly large 16 pt. print.
