Yoda Inspired Hats
Gauge for the hat:
Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6)
Round 2: 2SCx6 (12)
Round 3: 2SC, SCx6 (18)
Round 4: 2SC, SCx2x6 (24)
Works out to be 4.5cm
I have made this hat from acrylic DK weight yarn and they were quite quick and fun to make. The only part that might be a little confusing in this pattern is the “Front Post Double Crochet” technique that I have used. There are a few Youtube tutorials which are useful for learning this technique.
If you find this too difficult, it is also possible to replace this with just “DC” and make a normal hat. I thought that adding the cute ridges at the front would be fun to imitate his forehead wrinkles.
I made both hats with one 100g ball of yarn and used about 3/4 of the ball.
