Yoga Cardigan
The one thing that can make any hobby even better is a knitted accessory. When I brought my yoga mat to class and looked at everyone else’s yoga bags, I knew that I needed something knitted in which to carry my mat.
Instead of trying to stuff your mat into a bag, this carrier wraps easily around the mat and secures with a button. The straps are made in one long rope of i-cord. They thread through holes in the carrier and actually do most of the work to secure the mat inside the carrier.
Although any yarn will do, I recommend self-patterning yarn to make your yoga cardigan even more fun!
SIZE
Roll up yoga mat tightly and use a tape measure to measure the circumference of the mat. The Yoga Cardigan will fit a mat that measures 10- to 14-inches in circumference. Button placement will differ based on size of yoga mat.
