The Yoke Shell summer top is a flattering shape, fitted with a wide yoke neck and floaty front and back.

The yoke neck is worked in the round. The front and back are worked from the yoke separately. The sides of the front and back pieces are crocheted together. This top requires no sewing.

For sizes L, XL and XXL, on the front piece, an additional shell panel is added to each side to create a side panel under the arm - this creates a more floaty top and accommodates a larger bust.

length of the top is adjustable to suit and could even be extended into a dress.
