Yolk Folk - Fried Eggs
Meet Bert and Beth, the Fried Eggs, who spend far to much time in the sun! Bert is big into surfing, and Beth likes nothing better than time on the beach to top up her tan.
Each egg takes a total of about 30 metres of yarn, with most of it as the egg colour and only about 5 - 7 metres in the swimsuit colour. The towel and surfboard will need a further 25 - 30 metres in a mix of colours so raid your leftovers.
This is a reasonably simple pattern provided you know your basic crochet stitches, although making up can be a bit of a fiddle. Gauge is not important for this.
Please note I use English crochet terms.
You will also need a darning needle, a piece of mounting card 16 cm by 4 cm and some stuffing or a 2.25 inch (5.5cm) polystyrene egg (1 for Bert and 1 for Beth).
