This double-knitted cowl (knitted in the round) celebrates the Old West pioneers and their quest for a better life, seeking their aspirations in ‘them yonder hills’! The pattern was originally designed for Lucky Ewe Yarn in New Braunfels, Texas, for the “Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas 2017”.

YARDAGE in ‘Yonder Hills Cowl’ Maverick yarn DK:
Color A: 250 / 500
Color B: 250 / 500

Kits using this yarn may be purchased by contacting Lucky Ewe Yarn: https://www.luckyeweyarn.com/

The cowl may be knit in 2 sizes, small - 30” x 9” - or large - 60” x 9”.

If using other DK yarns and/or other weights of yarns, it is recommended to work a sample of 2 repeats of the pattern, in the round, and measure that gauge. Adjust the number of repeats for the length desired.

An intermediate level ‘double-knitting’ project, with no explanations given in the pattern. A link to on-line instruction is included.
