York Shawl
Knitted from just one skein of fingering weight yarn, this is a perfect project for a special yarn from your stash. It is knitted from end to end, forming an asymmetrical triangle, so at most there are only just over 100 stitches on your needle. Little tassels on the corners add an extra bit of fun! The finished shawl is a perfect size to keep your neck warm on the still cool days of the changing seasons.
SIZING
Finished shawl measures 46” (117cm) x 18” (46cm).
YARN
You will need 1 x 100g skein 4ply/fingering weight yarn.
I used Phileas Yarns Explorer Sock (365m/100g, 80/20 merino nylon).
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
3.5mm needles or correct size to achieve tension (I prefer to use a 100cm circular needle, but it could easily be worked on straight needles).
2 stitch markers
Pattern is written in English.
