DESCRIPTION
York is a small barn owl who is oh-so-proud of his royal lineage. Born into the York family of owls, he can trace his lineage back to owls belonging directly to Edward IV. He is greatly resentful of the pall cast upon his family name by birds of Lancastrian persuasion and it is his greatest hope to re-establish the preeminence of the Yorkist birds as the ruling class among the fowls. He is currently collecting literature on Richard III and the War of the Roses to compile a case defending the honor of the Yorkist clan. He hopes to publish his first book with help of his editor and assistant, Cyrano the Bookworm.
