The Yorkville Beanie is a hat knit in the round on circular needles and then finished on double pointed needles. It is a classic beanie pattern knit in the round with a knit two, purl two rib. It is knit with a double strand of yarn which makes for quite a dense knit but very elastic fit. This beanie is perfectly unisex in style and its stretchiness makes it a great hat for babies and children as it can withstand years of growth. It is a very beginner friendly pattern and is written in five different sizes: 0-6 Month Baby, 6-12 Month Baby, Toddler, Child, and Adult.

258 (276, 292, 310, 326) yards ( meters) of any Worsted weight yarn (like Lion Brand Wool Ease), divided evenly into two balls

Tapestry yarn needle
