Amigurumi Yoshi doll inspired by the Mario games. I tried to make this doll as accurate to the way the character looks in the games as possible, and I think I did a pretty good job.
I used Spring Green and White from Red Heart Super Saver for the classic Yoshi color, but of course you can be really creative with this pattern and make yours any color you like. I also made one in Bubblegum pink, and I’m working on one in Royal Blue. I used a size E hook and aran weight yarn, you might be able to use a smaller hook and a thinner yarn, like a light worsted weight and a size B hook, to make an even smaller, cuter doll.
I also used craft wire to make my doll pose-able. You can see from the pictures that this doll holds it’s poses very well. If you’re planning on making this doll for a baby or small child, don’t use any wire in your doll.
