These socks were created specially for one of The Hook and Needle Nook, LLC Bashes.

We wanted a great sock that had decorative hearts throughout that made fabulous use of mini skeins. Mini skeins are enough for the heel and toe of these fun socks, and the fabulous slip stitch heel makes the heel area nice and durable.

This pattern is worked cuff down in the round, with a decorative cuff, then the fun starts with the hearts in the upper part of the sock, it has a durable slip stitch heel flap, followed by short rows for the heel turn, picking up stitches for the gusset and decreasing, while simultaneously working fun purl bump hearts on the top of the foot and ending with a traditional toe. The Kitchener stitch is then employed for the bind off.
