These mittens are the perfect size for your kindergartener. My son quickly grew out of the ones from last year. I’ve made an easy pattern to follow. It’s a plain knit with a simple K1, P1 ribbing. You can always modify this pattern to match your needs. If you want to do fair isle, that is totally up to you. Whatever works, do it.

Materials:
Four 3.25mm DPNs (Double Pointed Needles)
1 skein of yarn
Scissors
Needle to weave in ends.
