Your Gram's Yam
This pattern is for a couple of easy peasy yarn yam variations - a whole and a half. These can be completed in under an hour and are suitable for knitting flat or in the round to minimize seaming. Finished pieces measure 4.5” and 2.5” when using heavy worsted weight yarn and US 6 (4.00mm) needles.
NOTIONS:
Pair US 6 / 4.00 mm knitting needles
Embroidery needle
MATERIALS:
7 g Worsted - Aran Wt. Yarn (Peel Color)
1 g Worsted - Aran Wt. Yarn (Flesh Color)
Poly-fill for stuffing
GAUGE:
Different size needles and yarn can be substituted. Gauge is not important for this project so long as the yarn is more bulky than recommended for the needle size you have chosen. You should aim to create a tight enough fabric so that stuffing doesn’t show.
SKILLS:
Basic knitting technique, with simple increases, decreases, and seaming.
