Yrtti, aka Herb in English, is a slightly slouchy hat with textured stitch patterns. The pattern gives three textured patterns, which can be alternated as wanted for different styles.

The tension for stockinette stitch in the pattern is 11 - 11.5 sts / 10 cm. The stitch amount can be easily altered for different sizes or different tensions.

For example: with a stockinette stitch tension 12 sts / 10 cm, a hat can be knitted in the same size as in the pattern by adding 4 stitches. How to knit the additional stitches has been explained in the pattern.

The pattern suits best for wool or wool blend yarns in a heavier weight. Wolli is relatively light, so a hat in a tighter spun yarn can take more than 100 g of yarn.
