The Yukiya Slouchy is a whimsical knit to carry you through those last frigid days of winter. Worked in three colors, it features bands of alternating color and stitch pattern/texture. The patterning is achieved by slipping stitches rather than stranding (as in fair isle), and is a great project for people working their way up to stranded color knitting. The patterns have short repeats and are easy to memorize. Instructions are both written and charted. The pattern has been professionally tech edited to reduce the possibility for error, but if you have questions or believe that you have found an error, please contact me.

Hat requires approximately 210 yds / 190 m color A, 60 yds / 55 m color B, 60 yds / 55 m color C, of fingering weight yarn.

31 sts, 53 rnds equal 4” / 10 cm in Woven Dots using US 5 (3.75 mm) needles. (Count includes rnds created by color C weaving.)

Work swatch in French Weave. Other gauges provide a useful reference, but French Weave gauge is most crucial for accuracy.
