about the pattern

This pattern was my December 2016 gift knit along. It is now over and the full pattern is available.

Materials needed:

Yarn: about 50g Katia Merino Baby (m/50g) in main colour and about 50g Katia Merino Baby (m/50g) in contrast colour

please note that most testers used up the entire length of the main colour yarn, so you might want to make sure to have some extra here.

Needles and notions: size US 4/3.5 mm DPNs or two circulars, stitch marker, two buttons of choice (ca. 2.8 cm/1.2 inches in diameter), a hot water bottle

Knit and purl sts
knitting in the round
Casting on and off
3-needle-bind-off
stranded colourwork or intarsia (an ambitious beginner should be able to follow the pattern)
