Yumi
Yumi is such a fun cowl/stole to knit. The cables and leaves create a wonderful combination that adds interest and a graceful flow. The pattern continues to change each repeat which helps to create a delightful natural definition. This can be sewn at the bound off edges to create a cowl or left open for a more traditional scarf.
The pattern can be worked with a provisional cast on or a traditional cast on and sewn up. Flicker by Berroco adds a lovely stretch to the cowl but this scarf can be worked in any type of light bulky to worsted weight yarn. If you would like to use a sock or lighter weight yarn you may need to double some of the repeats to attain the perfect fit.
With just 2 balls of yarn you can create the perfect gift!
