The Yvaine sweater is the ultimate beginner-friendly basic sweater, featuring a simple lace yoke and a structured, cropped waist.

There are many different design choices you can make with this sweater - there are three different options for the collar and three different waist options. With the different waist shaping options, this sweater works for any and every body type.

There are 4 sizes available, and the pattern is intended to be worn with about 10 cm of positive ease. The sizes are based on bust measurement, so choose a size that is 10 cm larger than your actual bust measurement.

This pattern is made with beginners in mind, if you’ve never attempted a sweater before, this is the pattern for you. It’s the first sweater pattern I have ever designed for myself, and I have carefully been making sure to make this pattern as easy to understand as possible.
The techniques used are super simple, and the pattern contains intructions on how to make the sweater even easier.

As of now, there are only 4 sizes available for this sweater. Size inclusivity is very important to me, but quality is equally important - I have designed more sizes than the ones available right now, but only 4 sizes have been test knitted. For the sake of quality, I am not selling the untested sizes, however, if you’re interested in knitting an untested size, contact me and I will let you test knit it for free. I will provide support during the test knitting process.
