Yvonne the Swan
Knitted flat in swimmingly simple stocking stitch, Yvonne the Swan is approximately 21cm/8¼in from chest to tail and 26cm/10¼in tall when seated. Before you dive in, make sure your tension is nice and snug, with no gaps for the stuffing to poke through, as this lakeside lovely’s graceful neck and perky posterior are made using just yarn and toy filling. Before you know it, you’ll have a mute swan worth shouting about!
All pieces are knitted flat on straight needles (although most can be knitted in the round). They’re then seamed and attached using mattress stitch.
You’ll be pleased to know that this pattern has been reviewed by a professional technical editor to ensure that it’s super-easy to follow!

The boring bit…
This pattern is intended for personal use so it’s fine to print it out but please don’t sell it, share it on the internet or make multiple copies. What you can sell (more money for yarn – YAY!) is finished items made from this pattern so long as you’ve made them yourself and it’s not on a commercial basis. Please remember to credit me as the designer!
And finally…
I’d love to see your finished swan so please share him or her on Instagram and here on Ravelry!
