Zaha Cardigan
by Emma Vining
“This design features a central stitch pattern with triangle shapes,” says Emma Vining. “Each triangle is bordered by long wavy lines of two- stitch cables which blur the edges of the shapes. The textured triangle pattern is worked as a mirror image on either side of the cardigan fronts and back. The front bands and centre back are worked with twisted stitch ropes. The textured front and back panels provide a beautiful contrast to the stocking stitch side sections.” Emma’s design is knitted in Cascade 220 Superwash wool, which has a huge palette of 100 shades.
