Zazi is a warm and cozy drop shoulder big coat with 2 x 2 ribbed cables, a double knitted belt and folded sleeve cuffs for maximum comfort. The coat comes in 3 sizes due to a large stitch repeat and since it is meant to be worn with positive ease; Size 1 can be warm by bust sizes 28 – 40”, Size 2 can be worn by 41 – 56 and Size 3 by 57 – 70” bust sizes. The coat works up quickly in an Aran weight yarn.

11(12, 13) 100g Skeins Kokon Yarn Aran Weight Merino, 100% Merino Wool approx. (162 m/ 177 yards) Colour – Dune 1725(1840, 1985) m / 1886(2012, 2170) yards

Size A (for Main Fabric)
US 7 (4.5 mm) 32”/ 80cm circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge.
Size B (Collar and Front Band)
US 6 (4.0 mm) 60”/ 150 cm circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge.
Size C (Belt and Icord Loops)
US 5 (3.75 mm) DPNs (circular needle may be used)

Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows in Ribbed Cable = 4” (10 cm) after blocking
Finished Sample: Sample has a 64”/162 cm bust circumference and modelled on a 41”/104 cm bust. Recommended ease is 8 – 24” (20.5 - 60 cm).
