Do you have a bunch of hand-dyed leftovers you’d like to use up? Let’s face it - these are too precious to just lie around - they need to be worn! Do you like simple, modern and wearable shapes with a twist? Then this wrap is for you!
YARN
Any fingering or light fingering yarn of your choice
This shawl will require the total of roughly 250g (1000 yards) of fingering weight yarn. You will need about 200g of Main Color (MC) and the rest 50g will be various leftovers as accents.
COLOR
I have no color requirements here - you can pick and choose your own color combos/sequences. The only requirement that any given leftover should be at least 2-3 yards in length to complete a row.
As far as the number of colors, the least I would suggest three. You could either create your own gradient or use contrasting colors!
Sky is the limit as far as the possibilities go here! For example you could use a neutral as the Main Color and colorful leftovers as accents or perhaps you have these special speckled skeins that can be paired up with neutral accents - the choice of colors is yours!
