An overall Fair Isle stitch pattern resembling an Old Dutch Tile design is featured in this cardigan. Additional colors are used in the flowered button/neck bands and in the bottom and sleeve borders. The borders are also self faced adding stability to the edges.
The finished sweater measures 43” around the chest and is 25” long. It can easily be made longer or shorter by adding or deleting pattern repeats in the body and/or sleeves.
6 skeins each of two colors are used for the body of the sweater 1 skein each of the two contrast colors for the borders.
