The pattern is available separately and as a part of a 2-piece set, “little princess”, together with Anisa.

“Zehra” fingerless mitts are meant to match the Anisa shawl.
“Zehra” means “the impeccable one” in Turkish and “flower” in Arabic.

The pattern is written for one size, other sizes can be achieved through different needle sizes.
This pattern has been test knit by Eulenspiegel, Falkentraum and Sockengeist.

These mitts are worked from the cuff up, featuring a slipped stitch pattern and thumb increases, ending at the knuckles.

You will need:
– Rosy Green wool (100% merino wool), 2 hanks à 100 g/320 m [3.5 oz/350 yds], Color A – 25 g [0.9 oz] and Color B – 16 g [0.75 oz]
– Circular needle 2.5 mm [US1.5], 80 cm [32”] long for magic loop or DPN set 2.5 mm [US1.5]
– 3 stitch markers
– tapestry needle

Gauge: 27 sts and 32 rounds = 10x10 cm 4 inches

You need to know: co, knit-on co for thumb gap, holding and unholding sts, k, p, k2tog, p2tog, M1, bo, working in the round on DPNs or using the Magic Loop method.

Passend zum Tuch Anisa wurden die Stulpen gestrickt.
“Zehra” bedeutet im Türkischen “die Reine”, im Arabischen “die Blume”.

Die Anleitung enthält eine Größe, weitere Größen können durch die Nadelstärkenwahl erzielt werden.

Konstruktionshinweis: Die Handschuhe werden vom Bündchen, mit kleinen Hebemaschen und Zunahmen für den Daumenkeil, bis zum Fingerbeginn gestrickt.

Vorkenntnisse: Maschen aufnehmen, rechte und linke Maschen, Maschen rechts/links zusammenstricken, Maschen aus dem Querfaden zunehmen, Stricken in Runden mit einem Nadelspiel oder der Magic-Loop-Methode.
