I used a triangle bunting pattern and a half granny square pattern to make this shield shaped Legend of Zelda Triforce shield! Any little Link needs to cuddle up in one of these! I link to where I got the free triangle patterns and explain how I did the border. Also, you could make this blanket bigger if you just want to make the triangles larger.
