Zellij Wrap Top
Inspired and named after the style and geometrical patterns of Moroccan tilework, ZELLIJ is an intricately beautiful design and an ideal seasonal transition garment.
The design is entirely made from measurements, so it is size inclusive, and the pattern includes two sleeve layout diagrams for different sizes. The sleeves are made up of individual motifs which are joined together. The body is made separately, in one piece, and then sewn to the sleeves.
Wrap tops are incredibly flexible fit-wise, and flattering on all body types. With this design you can customize the length and shape of the sleeves, the body length and the edging to your personal taste and make it in a winter or summer yarn.
See all yarn & hook info in the photos!
The ZELLIJ is labelled as an advanced level project, not because of the skill level, which is acessible to an intermediate crocheter, but because it is a long project with different styles of contruction.
It assumes you know how to do the following stitches:
- Chain
- Slip Stitch
- Single Crochet
- Half Double Crochet
- Double Crochet
- Triple/Trebble Crochet
- Puff Stitch
All other stitches and steps are explained step-by-step with colour photographs throughout.
