Zemyna Ear Warmer
This pattern is for the Zemyna Ear Warmer pattern ONLY - for the other patterns in this collection or to purchase them all as a bundle, please see my pattern store.
The Zemyna Ear Warmer is the second of four in the Zemyna Fall/Winter Collection. I became obsessed with this stitch combination after designing a plant hanger and market bag with it.
This is an advanced beginner/intermediate pattern - it begins working the ribbing in back and forth rows which are then stitched together. Working along the edge of the ribbing you begin working in joined rows using a combination of textured stitches turning only where noted.
The Zemyna Ear Warmer is available in the following sizes:
-Measure head circumference to determine which size is appropriate.
Toddler(Approx 17-19” head): 16” x 4” (8” wide when laid flat)
Child(Approx 18-20” head: 17.5” x 4” (8.75” wide when laid flat)
Adult(Approx 20-22” head): 19” in x 4.5 in. (9.5” wide when laid flat)
You will need:
5mm Hook.
130-170 yards of worsted weight yarn depending on size - my samples and calculations are based on a combination of my samples made in Big Twist Value and the average yardage each tester used for their respective size.
Scissors
Darning needle to weave in ends
