Zemyna Winter Hat
This pattern is for the Zemyna Winter Hat pattern ONLY - for the other patterns in this collection or to purchase them all as a bundle, please see my pattern store.
The Zemyna Winter Hat is the fourth and final pattern in the Zemyna Fall/Winter Collection. I became obsessed with this stitch combination after designing a plant hanger and market bag with it.
This is an advanced beginner/intermediate pattern - it begins working the ribbing in back and forth rows which are then stitched together. Working along the edge of the ribbing you begin working in joined rows using a combination of textured stitches turning only where noted.
The Zemyna Winter Hat is available in the following sizes:
-Measure head circumference to determine which size is appropriate.
Toddler(Approx 17-19” head): 15” x 7” (7.5” wide when laid flat)
Child(Approx 18-20” head): 17” x 7.5” (8.5” wide when laid flat)
Adult(Approx 20-22” head): 19” x 8 in. (9.5” wide when laid flat)
Instructions are also included for adjusting the size for your needs.
You will need:
-
5mm Hook.
-
130-170 yards of worsted weight yarn depending on size - my samples and calculations are based on a combination of my samples made in Big Twist Value and the average yardage each tester used for their respective size.

-
Optional: pom-pom
