The Vest is worked from the top down. Begin with a cast-on for the upper back. The back piece is shaped for the shoulder slope, then worked to the underarms and placed on hold. Stitches for the shoulders are picked up along the cast-on edge then the two front pieces are worked separately to underarm. The front and back pieces are joined at underarm and worked in one piece. Before finishing the body, the pockets are worked.
