Sometimes we want to avoid the world, shut down all the noise that goes around, stop all the fuzz, forget the “must do’s” and “dont’s” of our lives and just focus on our knit. 

Zenite is a project for these occasions: one size only, no decisions to make, you will see it growing and knit one more row after another until you see it turning into a beautiful delicate lace.

Starting from a stitch (Summer) developed by designer Naomi Parkhurst, the result is a beautiful shawl that brings to my mind the rich colours and patterns of the traditional crafts in O Minho (Portugal), visible in all it’s splendour during summer festivities.

Às vezes, o que nos apetece é mesmo só tricotar. Pegar num fio de que gostamos e tricotar, não pensar em mais nada, concentradas no trabalho que nasce nas agulhas.
Zénite é um projecto assim: pede atenção suficiente para nos fazer descontrair, é só tricotar, volta após volta e ver nascer um intrincado padrão de renda.
Partindo de um ponto (Summer) desenvolvido pela designer Naomi Parkhurst, o resultado é um lindíssimo xaile que lembra as ricas tradições das festividades Minhotas.
