Crochet amigurumi PDF pattern for Zeno the Bumblebee.

This chubby bee has yellow and black striped body, a crocheted aviator mask (that is not attached to the head, so you can play with it!) and little wings stitched to the back of the body.

“Zeno is a brave bumblebee in love with airplanes and everything speedy. He flies over flower fields during the day. At night, in his dreams, he travels all over the world above skyscrapers, snowy mountains and oceans.”

It is NOT a finished toy, it is a PDF pattern to make the amigurumi character with your hands, yarn and a crochet hook. Available only in English and Italian

This is a 7 pages PDF crochet pattern which includes:

Materials (not included in Digital download):

• DK weight cotton yarn in black, yellow, pale yellow, pale blue, blue (yarn used for Zeno is Sirdar Happy Cotton / DMC Happy cotton, 100% cotton, 20g / 43m, in colors: 775, 770, 771, 765, 786)
• 3 mm crochet hook
• a pair of 10 mm safety eyes
• acetate sheet (for aviator mask. You can use the lid of a yogurt pot!)
• stitch markers
• toy stuffing
• tapestry needle

Size: 20cm / 8” tall if using suggested or similar yarn

Skill level: Easy (bumblebee) - Intermediate (aviator mask)

Notes: To make this amigurumi it isn’t necessary to use the recommended yarn and crochet hook. Using a larger crochet hook, and a suitable yarn, the amigurumi will be larger preserving the same proportions.

Construction: The body is worked in one piece starting from the bottom to the top of the head. All the other pieces are worked separately and sewn to the body.

Schema amigurumi per realizzare Zeno il Bombo amigurumi.

Questa paffuto insetto a uncinetto ha il corpo a righe gialle e nere, gli occhiali da aviatore (che non sono cuciti alla testa e si possono spostare nella posizione preferita: sugli occhi o sulla fronte) e le ali cucite sul retro del corpo.

“Zeno è un bombo con una incredibile passione per gli aeroplani e per tutti gli oggetti volanti. Durante il giorno vola tra i prati in fiore e di notte sogna di viaggiare intorno al mondo, sorvolando grattacieli, montagne innevate e oceani.”

- Filato in cotone nei colori: nero, giallo, giallo chiaro, celeste, azzurro (il filato usato per Zeno è DMC Happy cotton, 100% cotone, 20g / 43m,
nei colori: 775, 770, 771, 765, 786)

• uncinetto da 3 mm
• un paio di safety eyes da 10 mm
• foglio di plastica trasparente (come il coperchio dello yogurt!)
• marcapunti
• imbottitura sintetica
• ago senza punta

Misure: 20 cm di altezza se realizzato con il filato indicato

Difficoltà: Facile (bombo) - Intermedia (occhiali da aviatore)

Note: Lo schema si esegue utilizzando il “metodo amigurumi”, si lavora in una spirale continua senza chiudere il giro con la maglia bassissima. Può essere d’aiuto utilizzare un marcapunto per segnare l’ultimo punto del giro e spostarlo mentre si lavora. Per eseguire questo amigurumi non è indispensabile utilizzare il filato e l’uncinetto consigliati. Utilizzando un uncinetto più grande ed un filato adatto l’amigurumi finale sarà più grande mantenendo le stesse proporzioni.

Costruzione: Il corpo e la testa si lavorano in un unico pezzo partendo dal fondo del corpo. Tutti gli altri pezzi si lavorano separatamente e vengono cuciti al corpo.
