GAUGE IS IRRELEVANT - PATTERN IS MADE TO MEASURE
The name of this design was inspired by the wind, because of how light and airy the fabric is when using a large hook and #1 yarn weight. It features puffy sleeves and a crocheted ruffle trim around the cuffs and the entire piece, instructions for knitted ruffles are included.
This pattern is made to measure, it is written in a way where you, the maker will need to take measurements of yourself or the person it is intended for. It is not graded per size.
The cardigan is worked seamless, bottom up, flat. Back stitches are put on hold while front panels are worked, seaming is required for the shoulders. The sleeves are picked up and knit in the round.
The ruffles are then crocheted or knitted on.
It is so easy to customise, you can make the sleeves longer or shorter, you can even make the cardigan crop longer or keep it short.
This pattern has been tested by women of all different shapes and sizes and they all loved it! It is based off of YOUR measurements, so it will fit your unique body perfectly, there are no set number of stitches for each size.
All of my patterns are size inclusive.
The pattern contains high quality photos for almost every step to help you visually.
The skill level is intermediate. It is written in US terms.
You will need a set of 2 4.5mm needles (or needle size of your choice) 4.5mm dpns if not using the magic loop for cuffs or 4.5mm needles that are 40cm, hook size of 2.75mm & yarn weight #0 or #1, of course you may choose a thicker yarn weight, just go up in needle/hook sizes.
There is no shipping fee, as it is a downloadable item, you will receive 3 pdf files after your purchase is made.
