Zephyr
Zephyr is a versatile girls’ cardigan that can be summery, wintry or in between: A light cotton cardigan to throw on when the sun goes down. Or knit it in wool with a closer neckline for a classy cool weather garment. A fun and interesting knit with simple lace mesh, garter feature sides, classic A-line shaping and three sleeve lengths to choose from.
It is a top-down seamless knit starting with a circular yoke. Increases are made with a simple kfb and there are stitch count charts to help you keep track.
The neckline is wide and can be low for hot weather or brought in higher for cold weather with the short row instructions.
Choose 8ply/DK cotton or other similar summer yarns for a soft drapey layering piece or 8ply/DK wool for a warmer, denser fabric.
