Zephyrette Top
This top is named for the delicious yarn base of alpaca, silk, and cashmere. A zephyr is a light, gentle breeze, so the yarn is aptly named. This silky, elegant top feels like there’s just barely a wisp surrounding you.
Finished Size:
Chest: 3236, 40, 44, 48, 52 inches
Length: 1313.5, 14, 15, 15.5, 16 inches from cast on to underarm
Yarn: Flying Goat Farm Zephyrette (70% alpaca, 20% silk and 10% cashmere, 215 yards per 55g skein]; 22, 3, 3, 4, 5 skeins. Sample knit in Navajo Turquoise; 44” sample used 140g.
Needles: US #4/3.5mm circular needle, 32 inches or longer for the body of the top (larger sizes may prefer a longer needle), and needles for your preferred method to knit small circumferences in the round.

Gauge: 20 stitches/28 rows per 4” in stockinette stitch.
Note: This top is worked in the round from the hem to the underarms. Front and back are then worked separately to the shoulders. Shoulder stitches are joined using Kitchener stitch or three-needle bind-off.
