Black, white, red, and orange medium weight yarn (4)- I used Caron Simply Soft in white, black, autumn red, and pumpkin. (you will only need small amounts of black, red, and orange, and less than 1 skein of white)
3.5 mm crochet hook

White pipe cleaner (optional)
Stitch marker/scrap piece of yarn
Scissors
Tapestry needle

hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
BLO: back loop only

sc x 2= sc in the next 2 stitches (this is an example, number varies: sc x 3 = sc in the next 3 stitches, and so forth)
Dimensions
This Zero is about 6″ tall.
Notes
This pattern is worked in continuous rounds, do not join each round- use your stitch marker to mark the start of each round.
I used a pipe cleaner in the nose just to give it a little support and shape, however I do think it would be fine without it. If you do choose to use a pipe cleaner, I recommend white so you don’t run the risk of seeing the pipe cleaner through the stitches.
