For those of you who hate having yarn leftover, fear not! The instructions tell you how to knit until the very end. The perfect gift and quick to make, this chest & neck warmer gives you all the warmth under your coat without getting too hot wearing a whole jumper!

Inspired by a WW2 Soldier’s knitting booklet, the simple piece uses garter and stocking stitch- but would be very easy to add a pattern into. One size fits most for this pattern, but could be made bigger if needed.

The brown one in the photos is knitted with Drops Karisma #55 and it’s super soft- only using 2 balls / 200m of wool to make. However if you had more wool you can continue to knit for a longer extreme weather version.

Measures approx 35cm x 20cm when flat, with 11cm+ long turnover neck.
