Zero Waste Mitts
If you’re like me, you have lots of small scraps of gorgeous yarn laying around. These mitts provide a great opportunity to give those lovely scraps the attention they deserve, and you get to play with color at the same time! Seed stitch gives you a soft, cushy base, while softening the stripes of yarn so that the colors blend naturally. This version uses 3 colors that blend and change throughout the mitts, but you could use as many as you like, combining colors until your heart is content.
-Construction notes: Worked even in the round to the wrist, then stitches are increased to make room for the thumb. Thumb stitches are put on hold while the hand is finished then thumb stitches are returned to the needles and worked in the round to the end.
